The IIHF has reported that Robert Meier, a goaltender in Switzerland in the 1960s, passed away in July 2017. He was 61.
According to the IIHF report, "Meier was among the top goaltenders in the Swiss league in the ‘60s and led the Grasshopper Club Zurich to the Swiss championship and Cup title in 1966. He represented Switzerland in three IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship B-Pool tournaments between 1965 and 1967."
