Bernie Nicholls: The Pumper-Nicholl Kid
On April 1st, 1989, Bernie Nicholls scored three goals to give him 70 goals on the year (and 300 in his career) in a 6-4 Kings win over Vancouver.
Nicholls is one of only eight players to score 70 or more goals in a NHL season. Combined these players accomplished this amazing feat fourteen times.
