March 19, 1991 – Brett Hull scores a goal in a 2-1 St. Louis Blues win over the Washington Capitals. By doing so Hull became just the third player in NHL history to score 80 goals in a season. He would finish with an amazing 86.
The only other players to score 80 or more goals in one NHL season: Wayne Gretzky (twice, 87 in 1983-84 and 92 goals in 1981-82) and Lemieux (85 in 1988-89).
