Jean Beliveau Honoured Before Montreal-Vancouver Game

Here is the full tribute to Jean Beliveau prior to Montreal's game on Tuesday night:



It was a simple, classy ceremony. The most memorable moment would have to have come in the stands, where a spotlight illuminated Mr. Beliveau's empty seat, and focused on his family, particularly his emotional wife, Elise.

Once play began an errant puck quickly went out of play. Kudos to the fan who took the puck directly to Mrs. Beliveau.
