Did you know that there is only one NHL team that Roberto Luongo has never beaten?
It probably should not come as too much of a surprise that that team is the Vancouver Canucks - the team Luongo had played for for the last 8 seasons.
But before that he did play six other NHL seasons, 1 with New York Islanders and 5 with Florida. Partly because of the NHL's now-thankfully-discarded unbalanced schedule that saw Eastern teams not play Western teams as often, Lou only played Vancouver twice - and one of those was in a relief appearance.
Luongo's all time record vs. the Canucks? 2 games played, 0 wins, 1 loss, a 3.03 GAA and .898 save percentage.
In the last interesting game of the 2013-14 season for Canucks fans, Luongo faced his former teammates on Sunday, just a couple weeks after a shocking trade back to Florida. You know Lou wanted to win this game badly, but it was not meant to be. The Panthers would lose 4-3 in the shootout, leaving Lou with a 0-1-1 record against the Vancouver Canucks.
