Bill Guerin and Doug Weight, nine-time teammates including three times in the NHL and on several USA national teams, were inducted into the United States Hockey Hall of Fame on Monday.
Carolina Hurricanes owner Peter Karmanos, former college coach Ron Mason and female pioneer Cindy Curley were also inducted. Long time USA Today hockey writer Kevin Allen was given the Lester Patrick Trophy for outstanding service to hockey in the U.S. at the event.
