Maybe I'm in a grumpy mood lately or something, but I have been fairly disappointed in a lot of the hockey content available for consumption so far this season. I'm talking about both mainstream media and new media - bloggers as most people call them. Even some of my regular reads in both categories are letting me down, forcing me to look elsewhere for quality content.
But I really wanted to point out an excellent piece by Andrew Hirsh of Sunbelt Hockey Journal. He
remembers Dan Snyder 10 years after the former Atlanta Thrashers forward died in a car crash. It is a moving and personal account that tugs at the heartstrings and is simply a must read.
