I have found an interesting hockey history website that may fascinate you.
Mark Parsons runs HistoricalHockey.blogspot.ca. He advertises it as a collection of rarely published statistics and trivia that you (probably) won't find anywhere else.
When it comes to old NHL expansion and intra-league drafts, he may be completely right. Heavy on the word complete, as he has done an incredible job of documenting and researching such drafts. Not only does he focus on who was drafted but he also offers a look at who was protected and who was subsequently added or removed from protected lists (where applicable).
