April 10, 2003: Anaheim goaltender Jean-Sebastien Giguere made a spectacular postseason debut, stopping an NHL record 63 shots in a 2-1, triple-overtime victory at Detroit.
The performance ignited a playoffs-opening six-game winning streak that began a march to the Stanley Cup Final for Anaheim. Giguere led the way with a NHL-record 168:27 straight of scoreless OT goaltending. That helped "Jiggy" to win the Conn Smythe Trophy as the Stanley Cup's Most Valuable Player
