Allan Muir of Sports Illustrated listed the top 10 power forwards of all time, somehow omitting Mark Messier, Gordie Howe and Rocket Richard. Muir specifically defends his exclusion of Messier and Howe specifically - some legalese talk regarding his definition of power forward. The list is impressive, but empty without the aforementioned three. I suspect he did that in part to create controversy and conversation.
