This Day In Hockey History: June 27th
1950 - Hockey Hall of Fame announced it's newest members: Newsy Lalonde, Joe Malone, Scotty Davidson, Mike Grant, "Si" Griffis, and Charles Drinkwater.
1972 - Bobby Hull signed with the Winnipeg Jets of the WHA, in Minneapolis, Minnesota for $250,000 a year for 10 years.
1991 - Ted Green was named as the new head coach of the Edmonton Oilers, replacing John Muckler
1998 - At NHL Entry Draft Tampa Bay Lightning selected Vincent Lecavalier with their first overall pick.
