The hottest item at the current Classic Auctions offering is this 1950s game worn Gordie Howe sweater.

Six bids have the sweater priced at nearly $15,000, which (correct me if I'm wrong) is the highest priced item as the time I hit the publish button.

And who wouldn't want to have this sweater. Howe is a four-time Stanley Cup champion with the Red Wings. He won six Hart Trophies as the league's most valuable player and six Art Ross Trophies as the leading scorer. He retired as the NHL's all time leader in virtually every category.
