Here's my question for you: Who is the greatest player to wear #13? Teemu Selanne? Mats Sundin? Pavel Datsyuk?
Other notables worth considering include Valeri Kamensky, Ken Linseman, Bill Guerin, Slava Kozlov, Olli Jokinen, and Ray Whitney.
It appears that the New York Rangers Jack "The Octopus" Stoddard was the first NHLer (1952 and 1953) to wear #13.

For me,the greatest player to wear number 13 is Teemu Selanne by a country mile.From his 76 goals as a rookie to nowadays,he's still capable to play fair well and tally.All teams he played on were lucky to have him.
Pavel Datsyuk. No doubt about it.
I would give Selanne the edge, too, but he may be better known as #8.
