I can only guess that they worked from an old pic of a road game from his Flyers days here, because it would've been a lot easier to airbrush a white Flames jersey, which like the Devils' had a red shoulder yoke, a similar collar design, and, oh yeah, a white freaking helmet.

What is that helmet made of? Paper?
I think that helmet looks like it's made of metal, perhaps from a medieval collection of jousting gear. Bizarre.
