Though he is from British Columbia and a former Vancouver Canuck, Cam Neely is the ultimate Boston Bruin, through and through. It's funny that today is also the anniversary of the famous trade when Vancouver sent a 21 year old Neely and a 1st round draft pick (Boston selected Glen Wesley) to Boston in exchange for Barry Pederson.
That trade of course defined the Canucks franchise for a long, long time, and not in a good way. From a Vancouver point of view, tonight would be a great night to drive another nail into not only the coffin of not only the Bruins 2011 Stanley Cup hopes, but also the tarnished legacy of that failed Neely trade.
