A Tale Of Two Cities' Newspapers

This is the cover image of the Boston Globe this morning:

And this is the front page of the Vancouver Province, one of two major daily newspapers in Vancouver.

A tale of two cities continues. It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.

Hey Joe I think you have to admit that the better team won.
The bottom line is, the NHL is thought of as a big joke. Boston had a played extremely well as a team especially Thomas who had a storybook season and won the Conn Smythe. But all that was overshadowed by the Neanderthals and roughhouse tactics. I thought they were trying to sell hockey in the USA but if that is the case, they should get a better game plan. If they are ever to get another national television contract, they have to sell the speed and skill which unfortunately was snuffed out this year. Are you listening Brendan Shannahan, & Rob Blake? Guys with the mentality of Mike Milbury should not be given a soapbox, are you listening NBC. It is a great game but the wrong people are selling it. Congratulations to the Boston Bruins who were undoubtedly the best team this year, but I can't shake that image of Sedin getting punched over and over in the head in front of the ref. That's not hockey! But that`s what I am going to remember this summer
