May 13th, 1973 - Montreal (and Ken Dryden) set team and goalie playoff records with their 10th straight victory in the Finals (dating back to 1973) as Guy Lafleur had a goal and two assists in a 4-1 win over the Bruins, in Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals.
May 13th, 1980 - Denis Potvin scored (with one second remaining in a power play) at 4:07 of overtime to give the Islanders a 4-3 win over the Flyers in Game One of the 1980 Stanley Cup Finals. It was the first OT power play goal in Stanley Cup Finals' history.
May 13th, 1993 - For the first time in their 26 year history, the L.A. Kings advanced to the Stanley Cup Conference Finals by beating the Canucks 5-3 in Game 6 of the Smythe Division Finals, at the Forum. Kings' Wayne Gretzky scored a goal and added two assists.
