May 3rd, 1970 - Phil Esposito scored the 500th goal in Bruins playoff history.
May 3rd, 1979 - Boston's Jean Ratelle completed a hat trick with an overtime goal at 3:46 to lead the Bruins to a 4-3 playoff win over the Canadiens in Boston, in Game Four of the Stanley Cup Semi-Finals.
May 3rd, 1991 - Cam Neely became Boston's all-time leading playoff goal scorer with a goal in a 5-4 overtime win over Pittsburgh in Game 2 of the Wales Conference Finals. Neely's 47th career playoff goal moved him one ahead of former Bruin Phil Esposito.
