- Guy Lafleur has (another) farewell tour planned this season. He will play in 7 games across Quebec with the Montreal Canadiens alumni, his final season of on-ice participation.
- Lafleur's final game will be at the Bell Centre in Montreal on December 5th. That game will the Habs oldtimers take on a team formed exclusively of Hall of Famers, including Pat LaFontaine, Luc Robitaille, Marcel Dionne, Denis Savard and Brian Leetch.
- Gordie Howe's star on Canada's Walk of Fame has been damaged, but there is some controversy over who is going to fix it.
- You can win Bernie Parent's actual locker from his playing days at the Philadelphia Spectrum.
- Theo Fleury and Walter Gretzky both had cameos in the new movie: Score: A Hockey Musical. I am not making that up!
