The Western Hockey League held their bantam draft last week. There are several players related to current or former NHLers. Maybe one day they too will play in the big leagues.

• C Matt Needham (first round, eighth overall, Kamloops) is the son of Mike Needham
• G Eric Comrie (1st, 13th, Tri-City) is the brother of Mike Comrie
• F Sam Reinhart (1st, 15th, Kootenay) is the son on  Paul Reinhart
• F Greg Chase (1st, 22nd, Calgary) is the nephew of  Kelly Chase
• G Brendan Burke (3rd, 49th, Portland) is the son of G Sean Burke
• F Connor Kortko (sixth, 130th, Saskatoon) is the son of Roger Kortko
• F Jackson Elynuik (seventh, 147th, Kootenay) is the son of  Pat Elynuik
• F Matthew Gelinas (eighth, 165th, Swift Current) is the son of Martin Gelinas
