- Great send off for Mike Modano, full of emotion and memories. Speculation suggests Modano will retire this summer.
- The Pittsburgh Penguins put on a great show last night for the last regular game at "the Igloo." The stars were out, with 51 former greats honored, including: Mario Lemieux, Paul Coffey, The Century Line of Syl Apps Jr., Jean Pronovost and Lowell MacDonald, Andy Bathgate, Bryan Trottier, Larry Murphy and many others. The night was amazing, but somehow a bit empty without Jaromir Jagr. Also unable to attend were Rick Tocchet, Mark Recchi, Scotty Bowman, Ron Francis, Joe Mullen, Kevin Stevens and Tom Barrasso.
- Chris Mizzoni has a nice feature on the Toronto Maple Leafs last pre-game skate of the 1962 regular season. The players wore their suits on the ice, making for what must have been the most casual skate in their careers.
