I get the feeling Brian Burke would have loved Bingo Kampman.Kampman was an ambidextrous defenseman in the 1940s, able to play either side with great effectiveness. He was as hard hitting as they come, pretty much defining Burke's beloved word truculence.
How strong was he? He would take bar room bets from teammates and onlookers over whether or not he could lift tables with nothing more than his teeth!
