Shoebox Memories: Jeff Odgers

This is Jeff Odgers. He is best remembered as a hard working grinder with the expansion San Jose Sharks. He was the kind of player everyone respected - because he played the game with heart and honesty.

Nowadays the native of Spy Hill, Saskatchewan is a scout for the WHL's Prince George Cougars. He did not have to go far to find one of the newest Cougars this season - his son, John.

We will have to wait and see how far John Odgers will go. But if he's anything like his dad, he will beat long odds.
