The Battle of Quebec was one of the nastiest and dirtiest rivalries in all of hockey. And one of the greatest. I miss the good ol' days of watching French telecasts featuring games between the Nordiques and the Canadiens. It did not matter if I did not understand what the announcers were saying. The action was pretty self explanatory as the two benches emptied onto the ice, with very few of the players bothering to bring their gloves.
