That game would prove to be Lanny McDonald's final NHL contest. He retired as a Stanley Cup champion, and by doing so cemented his legacy as a NHL playoff legend.

Hmm, I don't know I kind of disagree that he was just above average. He once hit 66 goals in a season and hit 40+ several times.
But yes, he will always be a Flame in many eyes
