- Hockey legend Jean Beliveau is receiving an honorary doctorate courtesy of Ryerson University. Dennis Kane has a good line on this one.
- Dale Hawerchuk is talking about his life in hockey. Ducky is a class act with lots of stories to tell.
- Dave "The Hammer" Schultz is talking too, only it's a comedy act. There wasn't a lot of laughs when The Hammer played in the '70s.
- Reggie Leach is being honored at the National Aboriginal Hockey Championships being held in Manitoba. Leach was as hot a shooter as there was in the 1970s, but then fell victim to alcoholism.
- Darryl Sittler recently shared the ice with a pee-wee team. It's great to see hockey legends give back at the grass-roots level.
- Lorne Rubenstein of the Globe And Mail recently had a chance to golf with Bobby Orr. Can you imagine the stories between shots?
