Doug Armstrong unveiled Team Canada 2009's entry for the upcoming World Hockey Championships.
Goalies: Dwayne Roloson, Josh Harding, Fred Braithwaite
Defense: Dan Hamhuis, Drew Doughty, Chris Phillips, Luke Schenn, Ian White, Shea Weber, Joel Kwiatkowski
Forwards: Scottie Upshall, Derek Roy, Shawn Horcoff, Mike Fisher, Dany Heatley, Steven Stamkos, Matt Lombardi, Shane Doan, Colby Armstrong, Martin St. Louis, James Neal, Jason Spezza
That's pretty close to what I speculated yesterday. I'd still like to see Brent Burns and Jay Bouwmeester, but at least this way Doughty and Weber will be tested as go-to guys.
Other countries are still naming players to their rosters. You can keep track of each country's progress here.
