This painting is called Back Yard Hockey in Longeueil Quebec. The artist is Longeueil's favorite son, "King" Richard Brodeur.
Brodeur was a spectacular goalie on some spectacularly bad teams. His claim to fame of course would be the 1982 playoffs when he backstopped the Cinderella Vancouver Canucks all the way to the Stanley Cup finals.
The King has turned to the canvas these days, and now his own website to show off his new passion.
