The Penguins and Capitals meet for the first time this season tonight in Pittsburgh. Sidney Crosby and Alex Ovechkin have played 11 games against each other, with Crosby scoring 19 points (7 goals, 12 assists) and Ovechkin 12 (4 goals, 8 assists). Pittsburgh has won 10 of those 11 games, including each of the last seven Crosby-Ovechkin matchups. The Capitals’ only win was a 6-3 victory in Washington on March 8, 2006, in which Ovechkin had one goal and two assists.
