According to James Mirtle, Alexander Ovechkin is on pace to challenge the greatest goal-scoring seasons of all time.

Mirtle has put together some stats to suggest Ovechkin is currently on pace to have a season that should outrank Wayne Gretzky's unreachable 92 goal campaign.
