Website Featured In Movie

Well, its not quite Spiderman or Star Wars, but my website has made it's movie debut.

A special thank you goes out to Tyler at NHL Digest.com. He was watching CTV's television movie Sticks And Stones, starring David Sutcliffe and Daniel Magder. He emailed me to congratulate me on my other website, 1972 Summit Series.com, making an appearance on the show.

To be honest I completely forgot about that project. I signed release forms months ago, but I never knew the air date, and sort of forgot about it. Thanks to Tyler's email and my living on the west coast, I was able to catch the show and the spot featuring my website. Thanks Tyler!

It was a very well done program, inspired by a true story that made headlines around the world. Sticks and Stones tells the story of a 13-year-old Canadian hockey player who, after witnessing the ill treatment of a visiting American hockey team after the U.S. declared war on Iraq in 2003, sets out to make things right by organizing a Friendship Tournament between the two teams.
