Taking A Stand: Viacheslav Fetisov
This week I've been looking at players who stood up for their believes and would not back down. I've looked at Ted Lindsay, Ken Linseman and Shorty Green. In my 4th installment of Taking A Stand, I'd like to take a look at a man who took on not just an entire corrupt national hockey program, but a communist nation clinging to its past. Of course I'm talking about Viacheslav Fetisov, who was instrumental in hockey players finally earning the right to leave Mother Russia and earn a living in the NHL.
