Organized by Joel Quenneville's wife Boo, the reunion was held on her parents Connecticut farm. 35 players/team officials made the trip which included a golf outing and a BBQ. Money was also raised for Connecticut Children's Medical Center in Hartford, the Whalers' longtime charity of choice.
Those who made the trip, all on their own expense, include Ron Francis, Kevin Dineen, Ulf Sameulsson, Joel Quenneville, Dave Tippett, Doug Jarvis, Rick Ley, Mike Liut, Stew Gavin, Randy Ladouceur, Dean Evason, Jimmy Roberts, as well as former owners Howard Baldwin and Richard Gordon, announcer Chuck Kaiton, and trainers Tom Woodcock and Skip Cunningham.
