Facebook is the hottest trend out there these days. If you're not using the "social utility that connects you with the people around you" well then I guess you're not very hip or cool, or whatever the kids say these days.
I consider myself to be a reasonably savvy internet user, and I really don't understand the draw of Facebook. Neither can Alanah over at Canucks And Beyond, but at least she's determined to get her money's worth of the free registration and service.
Alanah created Church Of Bubla, Facebook's very own tribute to form Canuck Jiri Bubla. I think she created this a) to see how silly Facebook and thusly the internet can be and b) because she likes saying the name Bubla. It seems many of the group's parishioners are probably there for the same reason.
I had, shall we say, an intervention. Actually no I just intervened. Regardless, I stepped up to the pulpit and insisted the gospel according to Jiri not be taken in vain.
Let us resurrect Jiri Bubla's memory by re-living his great career!
In other words, here's Jiri Bubla's career biography. It is mandatory reading for all Church of Bubla members.

How about a special page dedicated to the greatness of Bubla's son, Jiri Slegr? :)
I know I did one, but it's not quite Pelletier classic style.
