After twenty five years on the bench, Peter Puck will make a bold comeback attempt in the 2007-08 season.
Peter Puck, the creation of hockey historian and past CBC Hockey Night in Canada commentator Brian McFarlane, returns to the ice. In a past life he was "the chirpy, cartoon rubber biscuit" and, with apologies to Don Cherry, "the most popular intermission personality ever featured on televised NHL games."
Peter Puck is returning with a line of apparel and as the official "spokespuck" for an undisclosed national financial institution.
Seagal Licensing, which have teamed up with McFarlane, have big plans including books, toys, a computer animated television show and even a breakfast cereal.
