The Vancouver Province and it's readers have declared the 1977 Montreal Canadiens as the greatest Stanley Cup champions of all time.
Online voters and the Province's expert panel had equal say in the results, although it wasn't even close. The '77 Habs knocked off the '56 Habs in a finals landslide.

I have contacted HOF magazine as the Rocket Riot article is littered with so many errors it is practically a misinformation piece. The Ed. has contacted me regarding my letter with a promise to look into it - so it may no longer be online as of this moment.
I tried my best to correct such innacuracies, such as Hal Laycoe being a Ranger at the time of the incident, on my post, but they are all too numerous to make light of.
